Described by Field as 'Destination Style New York', the range - set to hit stores and online in October - will feature 35 trend-focused 'luxury' pieces with a nod to high-octane glamour. The main onus is on to-die-for dresses, but the range will also comprise of a capsule collection of tops, trousers and accessories.
Field says of the collaboration: 'I really wanted to get involved with a brand who really understood women of all ages and who would work closely with me to develop the range in a way that was right for them. I have conceptualised the line as Destination Style New York and it consists of iconic womenswear including matching accessories. I like to see it as an expression of my philosophy of 'the democratisation of luxury'.'

My first though when reading this is with Comme Des Garcons launching their H&M line in November and this range in October, I might need to be saving some money! It shall be interesting to see what this range will be like. Although M&S has really upped it's game fashion wise (Twiggy, Lily Cole, yada yada) and it is not just frumpy granny clothes (well...not entirely true. They still have that section! Can't beat some frump action!) I am not sure if the range will be eccentric and off their target costumer, or If it will be an instant sell out!
I like how she is basing it on New York - I am heading there this summer for my holidays (So excited *happy dance*!) and I am hoping that it will be an impressive line!
Also...(this is very off topic) you know that you are stressed/crazy/loony/insert any other appropriate adjective here/ when you wake up in the morning and all you can remember is your dream of wearing these shoes -

Extreme Dior Gladiator Platform$770.00
And the surprising thing is, in this dream I don't remember my feet hurting! Must have been a dream!
Anyways, I doubt I will be getting a pair of these soon (bit of a hefty $770 price tag) but Asos are doing a similar pair -

£55.00
